Monkeypod Kitchen
Located at the Wailea Gateway Center, Monkeypod has an upscale surf theme. The restaurant ambiance is bright and warm and they also often have live music. There’s plenty of fresh fish prepared in familiar ways: tacos, fish ‘n’ chips and poke; salads composed with locally sourced ingredients (the restaurant also uses island-raised beef and free-range proteins), hand-tossed wood-fired pizzas, and homemade cream pies. This one-of-a-kind eatery is conveniently located in The Shops at Wailea. It features a contemporary yet relaxed dining room that is largely adorned with bamboo panels and modern furnishings.
